This term, the students at Pt England have been blessed to be part of the government funded school lunch program. Everyday, each student receives one of 500+ lunches delivered to our school, sorted and then brought to our classrooms on large bread trays. Students wait in anticipation before opening their lunch box to see what they will be having each day. For many students at PES, each day there is a new surprise in their lunch box.
Students in Room 21 have been learning about trying new things with a proper try. We always take 4-5 "McDonald's sized bites" before determining whether or not we like something. We also always try our main course before we enjoy our piece of fruit/veggies and yogurt/muffin.
Check out our video below to see what lunch looks like in Room 21 and to hear some of our favourite things that we have had for the first time.
