Our First Field Hockey Session

Today, the lucky students in Room 11 Literacy were able to begin their day with a Kiwi Sport field hockey session! We were so excited because this would be the first time playing field hockey for most of the students.  We learnt many important things like holding out stick with our right hand on the colour, keeping our stick on the ground, and keeping our eyes forward, bum down and knees bent. We also learnt about dribbling (taking our ball for a walk), and heel-toe dribbling.  Our coach was so proud of us!  She said that we did a superb job!
